Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to any person that asked me about it because I believe that it provides students with an appreciation of art. I felt like I was being pushed to do my best because I was surrounded by people who were driven to do their best.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of the course is definitely the push to do something unique and new. All of the people in the class have very different styles, and you can adopt some of those styles to improve upon your own. I think it immerses you in a totally different world when compared to lower levels of art.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you should work on the summer assignments that the teacher gives you so that you will have pieces to fall back onto if you do not have enough for your portfolio. Try your hardest to complete things as quickly as possible and, most certainly, manage your time wisely.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is an enjoyable way for people who did not take band or any other "art" to earn credits toward college. It's fun and Mrs. Duncan and Mrs. Dugat make it possible even if you aren't very artistic.

    Course highlights:

A better degree of ability. I learned how to use shading and cross hatching and blending to make my art works better. It builds on the principles taught in Art 1-3.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a work load but it is doable if you put the time in during class, and a little bit on the weekends and afternoons.
