Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to upcoming seniors because not only does Mrs.Nichols prepare you thoroughly for the AP exam, but she also encourages you to fall in love with literature. Mrs.Nichols is an example of a life-changing teacher because she encourages you to love literature for its beauty and purpose not for a letter grade. She believes in all of her students and that is why I believe that we are guaranteed passing score on our AP exam.

    Course highlights:

Mrs.Nichols is THE highlight of this course. She encourages her students to really dive in to the pieces that she chooses for us to read and it is truly inspiring. I have learned to write what I really think down on paper. She has challenged me to use upper level vocabulary and pay attention to detail when reading literature. Her assignments have sparked my love for works by Sylvia Plath and Henrik Ibsen.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students considering this course is to stick with it. Mrs.Nichols will do everything to prepare you for this exam and you will walk out of the AP exam knowing that you passed and will get college credit. Not only do you learn about how to write an essay and answer AP questions, but you learn about how to love life and live in the moment. Mrs.Nichols' method of teaching will change your life. Sometimes she throws a lot of papers at you and it may seem overwhelming, but she is willing to work with every student and is very easy-going.
