    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Finance is a really important subject to understand, and you will carry the knowledge with you for the rest of your life, even if you are not a business major. Anyone interested in growing their wealth through investments would benefit from taking this course, but it is also helpful for learning how to manage your personal or business finances.

    Course highlights:

Stock trading, bonds, compounding interest, corporate finance, capital budgeting, risk analysis, valuation, how to make educated financing decisions

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class and don't fall behind on homework because it's hard to catch up. If you do fall behind, make it a priority to visit your professor for help. She is very patient and willing to help students. It can be a tough subject to grasp but it's worth putting in the time to understand.
