    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a hugely beneficial course to take in high school. It prepares you so well for the rigor of college and may reveal that you may not be as smart as you think you are, which tells you what study habits are right for you.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of chemistry that I will take with me when I take Gen Chem 1 in the fall of 2017

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen very carefully in this class, take thorough notes, and read the book chapters

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I have really enjoyed this course. I have learned a lot about how the body is built and the systems that keep it running. My instructor helps to make the learning fun.

    Course highlights:

When we dissected an eyeball, I was a little unsure of whether or not I could handle the gruesomeness of the project; however, I learned to detach myself from the fact that this was formerly in someone's body and objectively look at components, vessels, muscles, etc. I was intrigued with how so many little things can work together to give us sight!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a lot of vocabulary to learn about all the muscles, bones, etc. in the body. Be prepared to spend a lot of time learning all the new words and how they relate to each other.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was an amazing course! I learned so much about the human body and my teacher was great! The course was very informative and not to time consuming. It was one of the best classes I took my sophmore year.

    Course highlights:

I learned all of the bones and muscles in the body. I also learned all the funtions of the organs in the body. I was taught all about fetal development. And about the blood and tissues.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

ALWAYS STUDY. You may not get a lot of outside work but when you do, make sure you complete it. And make sure you use this work to study. This may be the only time you do outside work but you must do it. Studying could be the difference between a B and an A.
