Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class because Mr. Mike is a fantastic teacher, and the content in the class is enjoyable to learn about!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of AP Bio was when we did labs in class. We learned about the ecosystem, probability, different diseases, and many other topics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering any major in college where you know you will need to take a biology course, I highly recommend taking this class. The content I hear is very similar to the content you learn in college.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely love this class but that doesn't mean that is is easy. It is a challenge for me sometimes because I never took chemistry but that didn't stop me from taking the class. It is fun with all the cool labs you get to do and the material is easy for me to study because I am very interested in the medical field. If you love science and are interested in how everything works biologically in life then you should definitely take this course.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was when we got to dissect a cat. I loved getting to actually see for myself all of the organs and bone structures that we looked at pictures of. You never really know what a heart or lungs look like until you're looking at a real one in a real body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

One of the most important things to do in this course is read the book. Everyone studies differently so I won't say that you need to outline or make note cards but if you NEED to do anything at all, it is read the chapters that you are working on, it will help a lot.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is helpful for students going into the medical field, or just anyone who wants to challenge themselves and learn more about biology. The class is interesting.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better understanding of how the human body works through this course. The course was more in depth than Bio 1, so I really got a full overview of certain topics, like respiration or genetics. Everything was very relevant to me since it dealt with the functions in my own body.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to outline and take notes, work hard on lab reports, use resources from the book to study, ask your teacher when you get confused, and study well for tests. The tests are not just conceptual, but rather application of knowledge.
