Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because it is the history if our country and the class was very interesting and taught well!

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights of this course were learning from start to current the history of how our county got to where it is. I enjoyed learning about the presidents and their policies!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take the course if you can. You will learn so much and when the AP exam rolls around maybe you can earn some college credit.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I definitely recommend this course to any student wishing to improve their knowledge of the roots of this country. This course stabilized prior knowledge as well as adding new connections and understandings of our country's history.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about the various Presidents of our country. This course offers an unbiased perspective of both the successes and failures of almost all of our presidents and the policy actions they undertook. This course also is very educational regarding the battle with the Native Americans and the expansion from 13 colonies to 50 states.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take this course if you are already interested in American history. This course is not super helpful to those who had no base in US history but was quite interesting to those who liked it. Prepare to write a lot and familiarize yourself with the textbook, though there is not too much reading involved.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you'll learn a lot about America's history. You also learn where the country did well and where they went wrong. There is quite a bit of material to cover, but your knowledge will expand significantly.

    Course highlights:

One of the biggest highlights of this course was the oppression of minorities throughout history. In classes, previous to APUSH, had made America to be the city on the hill that everyone country would look to as a model. This is proven to be incorrect within this course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're going to take this course you have to really focus in class and study for each test. Also, you will get a lot of homework so make sure you manage your time well and actually do the work. A lot of the times the material in the homework will be critical on tests. Also, the more you participate in class the less likely you are to be confused in class. Another thing is to stay organized! I had to get a binder and label each paper I got with a unit and a number. this made studying much easier.
