    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher has a very thick accent and is hard to understand

    Course highlights:

I did learn a lot but not as much as I could've with a better teacher

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the course but take it with a different teacher

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not really recommend this course to someone that isn't willing to put all of their effort into it. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication and is definitely not easy. It requires you to have a lot of knowledge about physics, chemistry, and calculus. You will be doing most of the work and studying outside of class. If you do decide to take it, be prepared for the struggle.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the labs. I learned what the tools are called and how to be patient with every procedure. It can also take more than one more try. It is also important to pay very close attention to detail.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to not go a single day without doing example problems and just studying over the chapter. Also, try to read ahead on other chapters when you can because it makes it easier when the teacher goes over it. Always pay attention in class and do not be afraid to ask the teacher questions.

    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I didn't expect to put as much time into this course that I was required to . It was an extension of Honors or Regular Chemistry, but if you want to be a chemistry or other science major then it may be helpful.

    Course highlights:

I liked the labs, and I was taught how to write a formal lab report my senior year in high school, something useful for a science major.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be willing to dedicate a lot of time, effort, and energy in order to do well in this course. I advise going through the notes, book, and practice problems frequently.
