    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I did not think that the teacher knew exactly how he was suppose to get through to his students.

    Course highlights:

I did not learn much since it was a difficulty getting a hold of the professor when I had a problem.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The course is fine and I recommend learning a lot of medical terms in advance which would in return make the class breezy.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to students who have a passion for science because the teacher does an excellent job of thoroughly explaining course material as well as supplemental information related to the fields of science and medicine.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course included completing a portfolio of college level assignments and notes, as well as having the opportunity to attend a medical seminar at the Texas Medical Center in downtown Houston. I learned about the structure and function of the human body in depth.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to do your homework. A lot of the work requires at-home reading and studying, and you can't just copy your friend because the teacher gives no worksheet/multiple-choice type homework. The teacher is a bit eccentric, but if you respect him, he will respect you and you will do fine in the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Human Anatomy and Physiology, thus far, has been a blast. It is a great class for any and all seeking to major in any natural science.

    Course highlights:

Cells-Tissue-Organs. You will learn from the smallest units of life up starting with the cells of your body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The students of this class were taught directly from the book and our notes were written verbatim. Study the book, learn the book, BE THE BOOK. Reading ahead is always recommended.
