    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if the student is not taking multiple AP courses aside from it because it does require a lot of time to read the chapters and with other classes to worry about history is often put to the side. the course requires more effort than busy students can give.

    Course highlights:

The teacher regularly engages students in class group work which allows for good discussion of topics and in-depth analysis of certain events in history.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are able to read each chapter more than once before a test.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learned so much from this course! It's super helpful when you move on to government and economy in your senior year. I loved the course and the teacher. He makes the learning experience a nice balance of note taking, activities, videos, etc.

    Course highlights:

Definitely just the broad scope of American History. It is really useful information to carry with you into your life as an American Citizen.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely stay on top of things. The tests and quizzes can be difficult, so don't wait until the night before to study. Because teacher knows that kids use the online practice quizzes (which usually he doesn't mind), he will sometimes throw random questions in the quizzes that you may not know.
