    I found out how to apply certain topics from previous classes to my current topics.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Calculus B is not a course I quite exactly see students going out of their way to take unless it is a requirement for their course curriculum. However, for the select few students who are choosing to take this course, I highly recommend this class. I had Udita for both Calculus A & B, and he is without a doubt one of the best math professors I have ever had. He really prepares his students well for quizzes, exams, etc. and always keeps his lectures engaging. Definitely not an easy A; you'll have to work for it, but having Udita as a professor makes it attainable. He really cares about his students and finishing the class is a rewarding feeling.

    Course highlights:

    The major highlight of this course was feeling like I overcame a major obstacle. Going into the course, I had been told by numerous students in engineering majors that this was the most difficult math course they had ever taken. That being said, you would think I would go into the course fearful, however, I went in there determined to do well. I wanted to prove to myself that I could tackle this course and get a good grade out of it, which I did. Taking this course, I learned how to make real world applications outside of the classroom, and that was definitely the most accomplishing feeling.

    Advice for students:

    The number one advice I would give students for taking this course is show up to class, take notes, and do the homework. Those 3 tips are the most vital factors that will get you through this course and will help you end up on top. Trust me, you'll thank yourself at the end of the semester.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This is your standard Calculus B class which covers some topics that are difficult to master, like rotation of a function about an axis, sequences, and series. Dr. Raymond does a good job explaining the concepts and how they work even though he can seem a little intimidating. He really wants students to understand the material and is great about answering questions related to the course.

    Course highlights:

    Rotation of a function and calculating arc length were pretty cool.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    You must have a rock solid understanding of algebra, Calculus A, and integration. You do lots of integration in this course.
