    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor provides lots of examples of the natural hazards being studied and shows the behavior of the natural hazard. The labs reinforce the concepts presented in class.

    Course highlights:

It was an interesting class, but the readings were hard to keep up with. I did learn a lot about various hazards such as hurricanes, volcanoes, and rip currents. I also learned how to prevent them or get away from them. Human population is a common cause of natural hazards and disasters.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay current on the readings and use his study guides.
