    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a great first college class experience. The class size wasn't too big and you could tell that everyone who attended really wanted to be there. Huge difference from being in high school.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to work with others and the importance of reading the assigned material prior to it being reviewed in class. By being prepared, I was in a much better position to participate in class and help others when working in groups.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest taking advantage of any study groups that are formed. By interacting with the other students in the class, it makes getting together to study with them much more comfortable and also makes attending the class something to look forward to.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Extremely different from any history class I've ever taken it is given from a different point of view.

    Course highlights:

About spices and its effect of globalizing the modern world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Writing is graded as if an english course so if you struggle with writing I would recommend going to the writing center

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because the professor is very nice, however he is a little all over the place and kind of unorganized.

    Course highlights:

The highlight is definitely Friday's because we do different activities, and it is nice to experience something different than lecturing. I learned a lot about taking different perspectives on history.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely do the readings because he makes it a large point to connect those readings to the work we do in class, and on exams we have to do direct quotes from those readings.
