    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is essential in understanding the structural design aspects of civil engineering and is one of the most important stepping stones into advanced courses such as steel design and building design which I am currently taking.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning to design concrete beams and columns, being able to compensate for a variety of stresses, and designing rebar that is used for tensile reinforcement.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give to be successful in this class would be to attend the lectures, stay focused and interested in the subject, and make sure to relate the coursework that you do to things that you could do in your career or through past projects such as house construction or playing with toys as a kid.
