    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It was difficult; however, it really improved my writing skills.

    Course highlights:

    A highlight were the creative projects and I learned how to be better at analyzing.

    Always ask for help on how you can improve your writing and skills.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It was the English course of my Freshman year, the course was heavily laden with reading and writing, as one would expect.

    Course highlights:

    Towards the end of the course, Ms. Boyd let the class watch Sherlock provided that we all did an in-depth analysis of the episodes we watch and how the characters evolved. Character development isn't always a linear.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be prepared to read late at night, spend hours wrting essays, and studying vocabulary excessively.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    This course prepares you for a college level english class .

    I learned how to improve on my writing skills and the proper way of writing a formal essay.

    Some of the pieces may seem dry but stay with it because the conversations about the pieces can peak your interest .
