    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Coach Smith is without a doubt the hardest teacher I have ever had, but I've also never learned as much as I did in that class because he pushes you to go above and beyond

    Course highlights:

I learned the amendments and presidents

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard! Listen and take a lot of notes

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it helped me learn new things about the history I already knew.

    Course highlights:

Great discussion was the biggest highlight for me. Another highlight would be the interesting stories. We learned about the Native Americans and about several other different, extraordinary topics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen careful and take detailed notes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend US History Honors because of the amount of material that you learn. To be completely honest, this class requires a lot of studying, outside research, and lots of determination. Yes, this class is extremely difficult and time consuming, but it thoroughly prepares you for college.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would definitely be the intense class discussions along with movies that contained much historical value. During my time in this class I learned so much information. I learned about every decade from the beginning of time with the nomadic Asians, to the ice age, to Reagan's administration, to today's current culture.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice that I would give to students considering this course is to start your vocabulary words before the school year starts. This is very important because my class had to take ten question vocabulary quizzes about three time a week on forty or more vocabulary terms. You should also begin reading The Grapes of Wrath and Uncle Tom's Cabin over the summer because you are required to write an essay on them. Basically, you should begin as much of your assignments over the summer as possible to get as much of a head start on your work as possible, and whatever you do, do not procrastinate.
