    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Shaffer teaches a complex subject in a way that is informative, but also interesting. She breaks down intricate aspects of the study and allows her students to fully grasp every part of her class. It is not an easy course, but I have never learned more!

    Course highlights:

My highlight was exploring the nervous system. I fell deeply in love with neuroscience. The course gave me a glimpse into what I wanted to do after high school. I learned all about neurons and the autonomic and sympathic nervous system. I also learned how to think in a problem solving way, while also keeping an open mind.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to take it and put your mind to the class of it's what you enjoy. In order to do well, you are not going to be able to slack off. However, the knowledge you gain and the presentation of all your hard work will be satisfying and well worth the effort.
