    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You should take this class with someone who is better at explaining a hard subject like chemistry.

    Course highlights:

The tests are pretty easy, but you'll have to study harder for them because the professor doesn't really do a good job of explaining.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot and do all the homework. Also, go to the discussion sessions, they tend to be better than professor Dixon's classes.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I love this class! The professor is really interesting and knowledgeable. The class itself is super easy if you already have a knowledge of basic chemistry. Even if you don't, doing the homework and going to class will guarantee you at least a B if not an A.

    Course highlights:

The tests and quizzes are easy if you do the homework and pay attention in class. He also drops 4 of your lowest quizzes and replaces your lowest test with your final if you do better on it!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have some basic chemistry knowledge, it's helpful, but it isn't necessary.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For all engineers this class is required so you have to take it. I would definitely recommend this to other people outside of the major, if it's available to them, because it gives you basic concepts of chemistry that would definitely help in a more advanced Chemistry class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to study very efficiently since the exams are hard. So I had to learn to study throughout the week to be able to master the material. I learned a lot of basic concepts of Chemistry, definitely reminded me a lot of my high school Chemistry class. Although this course was a hard one, I was able to grow as a student by learning better study habits for future classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students to be prepared for tough exams. There isn't any homework besides practice problems that are an option to complete for each chapter--DO THEM! I didn't in the beginning of the semester and once I realized that some of those practice problems are actually on the test I took full advantage of it. As long as you put time and effort into this class a B is easy to achieve.
