    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was extremely tough but Professor Collins did an amazing job at making sure we understood the concepts. I have never taken a law class before so I didn't know what to expect. It was definitely challenging but Professor Collins provided many opportunities for help during his office hours and I think that is a great aspect for helping students learn.

    Course highlights:

My favorite thing about this course was learning a completely new subject. I have never taken any law class before so this course was a totally new concept for me. I also learned an amazing new way to study. By color coordinating your notes it is easier for your photographic memory to remember the information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a MUST to go to every lecture and pay attention and take notes. Once exam time comes, rewrite your notes with everything you wrote during the lecture as well as information from the book. Color coordinate your new notes because it will help your photographic memory. It is really important to go to class and actually pay attention and put forth the effort into really studying. It will be worth it in the end.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I loved gaining knowledge about the basics of communication law in this course. However, Professor Collins uses r*pe in most of his examples during this course, so it wasn't always easy to sit in on lectures. Overall, this solidified that I wanted to become pre-law!

    Course highlights:

I learned a tremendous amount about the 1st Amendment. The fact that there are so many SC court decisions just on this amendment is baffling- there are so many sanctions of the law that this course covered.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would absolutely recommend attending all of the lectures, and taking detailed notes. Collins will add test questions regarding his specific spoken lecture (which is not online) to weed out those who do not regularly attend his class.
