    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course is a fundamental to Healthcare management. It is information that can be used outside of the classroom and having a strong knowledge on the subject will catapult your career.

    Course highlights:

    Healthcare finance will allow you insight to how healthcare cost operations are done. This information is used daily in healthcare management role.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go in with an open mind and the desire to really want to master the topic. This is not one of the classes you will ask yourself, when will i use this information? The subject of healthcare finance is used time and time again and a strong understanding of the information will allow you the ability to management at a higher level.

    Course Overview:

    It is not an easy course, but the material is very useful and the course is kept at a steady pace.

    Course highlights:

    I learned principles of financial and managerial accounting for the healthcare industry. Basic concepts that help gain an understanding of tracking and managing budgets in health care.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Leave yourself enough time to read the information thoroughly and complete assignments. The terminology is often a little confusing, but the more you practice the problems, the easier the material becomes.
