    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Awesome Professor, very interesting class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the history of psychology and its impact from each era.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read. A lot. Be prepared to make a presentation. If you don't like public speaking I do not recommend this course.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it, as it is one of the core requirements of you are pursuing Psychology. The course wasn't difficult, our quizzes, midterm and final exams were online and I did pretty well. The professor was a nice woman, easy to take to and not only did she show powerpoints but she posted them online so we can read them and print ahead of time.

    Course highlights:

It was an overview of Psychology and its history, philosophical, and philosophical influences. Psychology today is also emphasized as well as Structuralism and Functionalism: antecedent influences, development, and founding. Applied Psychology: the legacy of Functionalism and Behaviorism: antecedent influences, its beginnings, and aftermath of the founding. Gestalt Psychology and Psychoanalysis are also highlighted.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are someone who studies best with powerpoints then I highly recommend you this class. If you take the class with this teacher, you can access the material online and print them ahead of time. I personally took notes in class while I listened in class so if you are like me you better sign up for History and Systems.
