    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because through the endeavor of preparing and giving speeches you become somewhat of an expert on various topics that may not have had the energy to research on your own. I had a great time researching topics I found interesting and then giving speeches about them with a true ardency. This course also teaches you some simple speaking techniques that will be useful throughout your life.

    Course highlights:

A highlight of this course had to be giving my persuasive speech on "why you should be in a polyamorous relationship". I found so much interesting information on it and afterwards my classmates told me they were honestly interested in what I had to say. I learned how to be positive again in a learning environment since high school was a bit of a negative experience for me.

    Advice for students:

Definitely consider taking it as one of your general education courses! Professor Karissa Workman is a lovely instructor and is always looking out for her students. She has a bubbly personality and is easy to talk to. Just make sure to well prepare your speeches!
