Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This in class course is very informal and personal. The instructor is so passionate about what he is teaching and he knows his stuff. He always uses a lot of pictures and videos to give visuals and to make the lecture more interesting. He also cares a lot about his students and what they think.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the paper he had us write on the concept of theming. We had to go visit an attraction, theme park, restaurant, hotel or anything in the hospitality field; and analyze its theme and the details of how it was executed.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you prefer communicating through computers, doing online assignments or texting in class, then this course is not for you. He's more old fashion and prefer a more personal approach.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ron Logan is an amazing professor who has years of experience with Disney. He shares his knowledge and past experiences in class and it has been my favorite course I have taken in college. He expects us to listen, and bases his final off of his lectures, but it is impossible to not pay attention because he is so engaging.

    Course highlights:

I learned all the history of Disney and how it came to be the company it is today. General policies and procedures of theme park management are touched upon, however the main focus was on the Disney parks across the world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class. He does not have tests, quizzes, or homework, but at the end of the course there is a group project and a cumulative final exam that you will only pass if you went to class and took notes on his lectures.
