Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Cooney loves astronomy, and makes it obvious by the way he teaches. Its an extremely fun class, and an easy environment to learn.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the structure of the solar system, how it was made, and the many different parts of it. Including terrestrial planets, jovian planets, asteroid belts, and comets.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep an open mind, and actually look into what Dr. Cooney is saying. The book is easy to read, and explains the material well so make sure to read the chapters

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Jim Cooney loves his field. He is always there for you and takes time to answer your questions. He is funny and makes the course interesting.

    Course highlights:

I paid more attention to the little details instead of dozing off. He makes math equations and hard concepts easy to understand in the sense of actually putting them to good use.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read the book! it has everything you need to know. The pearson study guides on the campus webcourses are very helpful too! Always do the homework, it is so worth it.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ridiculously hard course, lots of background math knowledge to know. Make sure to get study partners and use Course Hero to better understand materials.

    Course highlights:

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the subject, it was extremely difficult. Space is an interesting enough topic on its own though.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I got a B- and that was with lots of studying, don't skimp on studying, tutoring, and looking for resources on Course Hero to help./
