Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the research projects are real life problems and are hands on. These projects actually teach you how to do the legal research that will later be required in the field.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course are the research projects. They are the best way to learn the concept of legal research and help to shake up the every day routine of text book work and tests. They reinforce what you have learned in class and help you to feel more confident in the subject.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook on your own before going to class so you have an idea of what will be discussed. This helps you to take more competent notes quicker. Making note cards of vocabulary words and key terms enable you to study more efficiently in this course. Get into a study group early into the semester. Networking will help with testing, the research projects, and other classes you have to take later in your legal studies degree.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone studying Legal Studies. She is a phenomenal professor. She is very knowledgable and truly has a passion for teaching.

    Course highlights:

Her passion for teaching and for helping students succeed is evident. She truly knows what she is talking about in class and wants the best for her students.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely attend every class if you can and read the book as the course goes on. Focus on the powerpoint slides for the test material. She gives a thorough test review a couple days before the test date. Also, go to office hours and get to know the professor.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Fromang truly cares about her students and she ensures that the material is delivered in a succinct and precise manner. I would love the opportunity to take another class that she teaches.

    Course highlights:

It was interesting getting to see how cases are documented and recorded. Also, in the process of learning that, I was able to use law resources that law school students and lawyers use to research cases, which was very enlightening.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into this course with an open mind and a willingness to learn. It will expand your education while giving you hands-on experience with legal research and historic cases.
