    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Elashhab is one of the most fair professors I have taken. He's really helpful and you can tell by his enthusiasm that he loves his job and that he really wants his students to learn. He's very knowledgeable, but is not afraid to say "I don't know" if he doesn't know how to answer a student's question. It's a long drive, but he's worth it. I'm taking him again this coming semester.

    Course highlights:

This class is like "Intro to C" for engineers. You learn about the basics of C programming. You will go over "if" and "switch" statements, "for", "while", and "do-while" loops. You will cover different data types, pointer variables, arrays, matrices, and more! If you are not an EE or CpE major, I would highly recommend taking this course as one of your electives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to pay attention in class. If you do, you shouldn't need the textbook too much if your notes are good. The midterm is handwritten, so make sure you practice writing C by hand. He's very reasonable about homework, it comes straight from the lectures. Make sure not to cheat though, you will regret it when the exams come.
