    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Braun clearly understands the material, but has a very difficult time teaching it to students. He also wrote the textbook, so if you don't already understand Statistics you will struggle a lot.

    Course highlights:

I gained a very basic and minimum understanding of Statistics enough to pass the course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to do a lot of self-study. Maybe purchase another supplemental textbook and definitely invest in the study cubes. TA review was also very helpful

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend! I learned more than one thing in every lecture with this professor. He is a clear expert in his field and has been working in statistics and economics for 20+ years. There isn't a question he can't answer and he can frame a difficult concept in a relatable way so you can apply it to real life applications.

    Course highlights:

I learned many different data tests, what each test describes about the data and how it can be interpreted so that informed decisions can be made. I learned in this course that your "gut feeling" really can't be trusted. Look at the data!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In this course, you need to take the time to really LEARN about each method and what story it tells rather than memorize its properties and calculation. Try talking yourself through the practice projects so that you can develop a thinking process for when the test comes around.
