    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I LOVED this class! Professor Garcia explained the principles of marketing in such a simple and relatable way. I was uneasy about my decision to major in marketing; soon after taking this class, I gained confidence about my choice.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed the option of either watching the lectures online, or attending them in person. For a student with a full time job like myself, this option was extremely convenient. I was able to learn all the basic principles of marketing (and at my own pace).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take advantage of the learnsmart program. Throughout the semester, learnsmart was my holy grail for helping me understand subjects I wasn't too comfortable with. Another word of advice is to read the book! It is written in a way that isn't a bedtime story. The book is engaging and informative.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is good for learning the fundamentals of marketing and is required to be accepted into the University of Central Florida Business School. It helps you learn how customers find out about different products and helps give information on how to capture market economies through research and advertising.

    Course highlights:

I learned how product placement is integrated in media, how markets accept advertising, different strategies of how to show customers products in different ways. I learned a lot about the psychology of relationships between customers and retailers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be very diligent on your homework and studying for exams, it's very important to take notes in class about concepts that is in the literature for study. Never wait until the last minute to study, cramming will lead to making it hard to embrace all concepts.
