    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't necesarily recommend this course to people who struggle with math. I usually don't struggle with math and I had a challenging time understanding some of the concepts. However, It was quite helpful because it taught me the basics for going into Calculus.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were very few. One of the main highlights was finally understanding how to do some of the trigonometry and not be lost all the time. I learned how use the quadrantal angles.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advice to get a tutor. It is the most efficient and fast way of relearning what you learned in class.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Tatum is a tough teacher, you might dislike her and have difficulty learning in her class, but she does a good job in preparing you for college, and does not baby you at all. She goes thru the material really fast.

    Course highlights:

The thing that was most helpful for me in the class was reviewing everything from algebra 2 in the first semester, because i know it will help me in my first year of college.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to keep up with your homework, and study a lot for the tests.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a solid background for Calculus, but I would not recommend it for people who are lazy and do not want to put time into homework and studying.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was getting my first A on a test. This course was a little difficult for me, especially at the beginning of the second semester. I learned that there is nothing better than practice to get good at math and understand the concepts.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be organized. Take good notes and use them while doing homework. The repetition of looking at your notes and doing homework will help the steps stick to your brain and help you do better on the tests.
