Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is a woman so in love with history that it exudes from her body. Her positive personality is extremely infectious and makes you want to continue to learn history

    Course highlights:

The projects and class activities where the best part of the class. Not only will you get the opportunity to be a leader in the numerous historical experiences that throughout the year, but you get the opportunity to discuss the significance of historical events in relation to current events which is extremely important. I learned that History is always being repeated and that as much as people try to deny this and run from it, the more it should be stressed how futile their actions are because no one can run or hide from History.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must be ok with the workload and the textbook reading. This is an essential aspect of the course and is the force that drives great class discussion and invigorating debates over key controversies in American History

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Dewaal is an extremely passionate teacher who has brought me to love history! The multiple projects in AP US include living history experiences have really gave me the ability to see what was like during events such as the Constitutional Convention, Court trails, the Great Depression, WWII, and more! Its an awesome class to learn about the history of our Country and gives me stamina to contribute to the rich history we already have!

    Course highlights:

I loved the living history experiences. We got to experience events such as the Constitutional Convention, Court trails, the Great Depression, WWII, and many other things. We were also given extremely flexible options to create a product from our own skill such as painting, music, building, presenting, and much more! The teacher is a wonderful person who dedicates her passion to history and works very hard to give the best experience to her students. If you follow her curriculum, read every night like she suggests, and complete all her assignments, AP US history will be very easy and very fun!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

In order to make APUSH a very easy class, don't take the detours of cheating. It will only hurt you if you cheat and you will do poorly on the AP exam and tests. Make sure to do the reading she assigns to you every night and complete all the assignments as well as virtual lessons given to you. you follow her curriculum and class rules AP US history will be an enjoyable experience.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is important to know United States History and how it relates to current events today.

    Course highlights:

Of all the topics, I enjoyed learning about America in the 1950s the most and the innovation that occurred during that time. I learned about the causes and effects of both domestic and international wars, qualities that make a good or bad president, how political parties formed, and much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The textbook reading is an essential part to this course. Before the tests, I always watched Adam Norris review videos which gave a very comprehensive review of each textbook chapter.
