    | Would highly recommend.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    This was a great, insightful, thorough course that taught me more than I ever needed to know about statistics. I feel extremely prepared for the AP exam, which I will be taking in May. Because of this course I am actually considering a career in statistical analysis or actuarial math.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights were definitely the engaging activities at the beginning of each unit. They typically included food or games, which applied the concepts being introduced.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    It is not a lot of work outside of class, but the information is very complicated and can be overwhelming for students who struggle with math.

    Course Overview:

    If you are not driven in statistics this class will take its toll on you. Depending on what major you tend to pursue statistics may or may not be essential for your future endeavors. If that is the case the class is essential for mathematical skills, but Advanced Placement may not be best option for you.

    Course highlights:

    I learned new formulas, and tactics to analyzing data that I never knew before. The interesting ways to manipulate data to insure a confidence region was interesting to me, and the most intriguing part was the ability to understand the significance of data.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Finish your homework, and insure that the work is done thorough. As long as you are engaged in class, and doing the extra work test should come fairly easy. The hardest part is depicting the different variables in different scenarios, so the more confident you are in analyzing problems the more confident you will be in solutions.
