    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Physics is a great subject that can be very beneficial for you if you master it. But if your like me and the vast majority of students who finds the class to be extremely confusing, you would need an instructor who knows their stuff and is able to at least help you secure an A in the class. Sadly, you will not have this luxury at Coppell high School, where every AP Physics 1 teacher knows about as much physics as the students do, which is not much.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you can truly do anything if you put your mind to it. Science and math were never subjects that I was particularly strong at, but going into AP Physics 1 I vowed that I would give it my best shot. Even though I ended with a B+ average, it was worthwhile to know that despite not having confidence in yourself at the onset of a new endeavor, if you are persistent in conquering the challenges that you face, you will achieve success and be proud of yourself for the effort that you put in.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Never give up and always ask questions, and if you're teacher can't answer them don't be afraid to forge relationships with other students within the classroom that can.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I have never been good at match, but I do like a challenging science course, so the course was 50/50 for me.

    Course highlights:

I can't say I learned a lot about physics in itself, but I definitely learned to persevere through the tough lectures and massive stacks of homework.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would just recommend that you get an outside tutor, do all of the practice assignments and ask for help. You don't have to go through the course alone! Everybody is struggling, even if it doesn't seem like it.
