Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

An engaging course, especially for those who enjoy reading and writing. You get to go in depth with the texts, and gain different insights from the whole class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to analyze a work of literature and poems, how to write an essay elaborating on said analysis, and how to identify symbols and motifs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the texts! Not only are they engaging, you will need them for the AP exam in the Spring. Good luck!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Stelly has taught me to love a course that I never even thought I could remotely like. If you think, "Wow, AP English sounds like the most boring class," I encourage you to rethink taking this course, because Ms. Stelly will change your view on the first day.

    Course highlights:

Ms. Stelly's personality makes you feel like you are her best friend. She teaches in a way that makes you love what you are learning no matter what it is.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

One thing that Ms. Stelly hates the most is cheating especially since she is the leader of National Honors Society. I also would recommend you read all of the books throughout the year and come to class prepared for discussion.
