Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Miss is a great teacher! Watching her teach was very intriguing because she put so much life and thought into her teaching.

    Course highlights:

Being able to solve complex equations and receiving A's on most of my exams were both definitely highlights.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to take good notes, you will definitely use them. Pay attention to the teacher because once you're behind on one thing, you'll be behind for the rest of the year.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a generally easy class if you can pay attention. This class emphasized using what we learn in real life situations.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to graph different equations and also real life situatiions, such as profit. We learned how to calculate accumulative growth which really helps when trying to figure out problems such as credit card bills are paying off mortgage.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

TAKE NOTES WHILE THE TEACHER IS DEMONSTRATING. It really helps because once you get home and pull out your homework, you've already forgotten half the things you learned; it is better to have an example to look at than do nothing.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although you may think that math is something you don't need, I believe that it is something everyone needs to learn . It helps you expand your knowledge and problem solving. It also challenges you to think and work hard.

    Course highlights:

I have learned to have patience when solving a problem, and that sometimes a full piece of power isn't enough. The highlight of this course was definitely learning about Gaussian Elimination, and learning how to solve it without a calculator.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, you have to dedicate your time and make sure that you give it your 100% by studying and paying attention in class. You also need to ask questions and attend tutoring before or after school if your school offers it and you feel that you are struggling. Sometimes it's still good that you attend tutorials, even if you are confident about the subject you are learning. This would reassure you and make you feel more confident in the subject. Another thing I would advice is that you don't stress out too much, this would only bring you down and make you give up on your work.
