Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend those course to those who don't want to stress with the fast pace of calculus BC. This class very much helps you transition into college with basic calculus knowledge and it has an easy AP credit success rate with only needing 60% to get a 5 on the test. Finally, having a prior knowledge in physics also helps make calculus extremely easy because of the many connections that could be made with derivatives and particle motion. I would highly recommend this class for those going into engineering

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was how closely it related to physics and its ability to increase my understanding of real life application for math and particle motion.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay a lot of attention to the derivative unit because that basically encapsulates the entire year. Mastering that unit will be the first step and probably one of of most imporatant parts you'll need towards achieving success in this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Chang is an amazing teacher and it is easy to see why she is the best of all the Calculus AB teachers. Firstly she teaches Calculus BC, so she knows the most advanced portions of calculus.

    Course highlights:

Mrs. Changs warm-up questions and her dances and songs really help, especially when test time comes around. Her daughter also sometimes bakes snacks for the class so that's exciting

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please do the homework, if you're not going to do the homework then make sure you at least go over all the powerpoints she has online the day before otherwise your grade will not be good

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has been helpful to solve and actualize the mathematical equations we face in everyday life. My teacher is pretty good at explaining the material and was very helpful in assisting me when I did not understand a certain unit. Honestly the best prerequisite that I had taken was pre-calculus, it helped to define almost half of the material taken in the first semester.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course I not only learned about the type of coursework I would be working on in college along with solving problems with real world applications.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying in this class is essential to the "survival" of the course, if the material is not studied it could easily be forgotten and or not learned at all. Do not take this class if homework is not a part of the daily routine.
