    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend someone in highschool to take this course, it's fun and challenging. Great preparation for college work.

    Course highlights:

Experiments were three highlight of the class, or the things we did to retain the material, sometimes it was reading and sometimes we'd play games.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to struggle, push, and persevere. This course is hard but the experience is something you won't forget.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the AP Biology course because one it presents a challenge which is usually only found in college. High school and college classes are very different in workload and class time. Thus if you want to know what to expect going into college courses there is no better way to know and learn from your mistakes for free in high school.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course for me was getting a different perspective on life as a whole and getting to realize how little the average person knows about the world they live in. For instance, a philosophical argument on evolution that is thrown around often is " I didn't come from and evolve from a monkey " and that statement is correct. Humans share a common ancestor with chimpanzees. This is why there are monkeys still around alongside people because if we evolved from "monkeys" then there would be no "monkeys".

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to be willing to spend many hours on studying the material. The concepts aren't difficult like in math but the amount of material in this course will be greater than all of your other classes combined. So as soon as you go into chapter 1 or learn anything begin to drill it into your head because there is a small an extremely small margin for error,

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course to anyone who enjoyed freshman biology. If you're someone that likes to know how everything about life works, this is the class for you. It is very challenging but also very interesting.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course was learning about cellular respiration. Cellular respiration is a metabolic process that takes place in the mitochondria that can convert the carbohydrates from that donut you ate into ATP. Sound interesting? Take the course!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This isn't a subject that you can study the night before the exam. Everyday take time to study the material you are learning, crash course is your best friend. Don't wait to do your lab reports last minute also, it makes life so much easier if you start working on it ahead of the deadline so that you can take your time researching or asking your teacher for help.
