Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is an invigorating course with a very intelligent, passionate professor!

    Course highlights:

The highlights were how much the Dr. Bonczeck was able to provide such an unknown subject to so many students and teach them. Actually teach. I learned all the basics of soil science, from horizons, to chemistry, and biology plus more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class! Dr. Bonzceck doesn't allow phones or laptops and it taught me how important it was to pay attention in all classes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thought this course was very interesting. Soils are a fundemental component of life on earth and I enjoyed learning the relationships bewtween soil and water and their applications in our lives.

    Course highlights:

Soil water science covers the basic fundementals if how the soil functions and the purposes of those functions. The course begins with an overview of the processes and factors that are involved in soil formation. Then, it goes I we the individual particulates of the soil in detail. Lastly, it dives into the relationship of water to soils and how water reacts with soils at a molecular level, and it explains how important these chemical interactions are.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to get the textbook and take notes. There is some math that can be confusing if the the textbook isn't referenced. I suggest both taking notes on the lectures and the readings.
