    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

understanding the way chemical reactions occur at this level is fascinating and you will find if you are in the health care field that it actually does help you to have an understanding of these.

    Course highlights:

Acid vs Alkaline is something that we all use and in nutrition something that I am glad I have a good understanding of.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Buy a white board at home depot, put it in your home or apartment and write the chemical reactions over and over again, while you brush your teeth, while dinner is cooking, practice whenever you have time and the information will be so much easier to master.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study on a regular basis and go out of your way to find problems for practice.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Required for med school, if you don't need it and you don't like chemistry, do not take this course it could hurt your GPA. If you do need to take it, and you struggle with chemistry, swallow your pride and get outside help.

    Course highlights:

Depends on your professor and their teaching/test-writing style. Learned how to teach myself.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. Don't just memorize, UNDERSTAND the concepts.
