    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course teaches you the perspectives of people of different nationalities and those who have had different life experiences from you. It is very amusing to learn about other different from you rather than arguing.

    Course highlights:

Learning more about your peers and the people you go to school with. You never know what people have overcome in their life.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open-minded. You will only learn as much as you allow yourself to.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is not a fun course to take because the university requires it, but I heard they are taking it away very very soon! So good for the students coming in to the next classes.

    Course highlights:

I loved getting to read some interesting articles and pieces of literature.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely read everything they ask you to and go to study sessions before exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course could have been an interesting discussion about what tolerance of other cultures really means, and about how to apply critical thinking skills to all types of situations. Instead, it was about memorizing and regurgitating a lengthy list of reading materials. Disappointing.

    Course highlights:

We learned the (obvious) lesson that other cultures do things differently from Americans, and did not get to really discuss or engage with the ideas presented in the readings.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take really good notes on the professor's lectures, random things she says will show up on the exams.
