Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is eye opening and interesting. The professor is wonderful. The class also counts for words, humanities and diversity credit.

    Course highlights:

The course focuses on social stereotypes on gender, sexual orientation, sex, and race through excerpts, movies, and short videos. I learned a great amount on how texts outline and enforce social stereotypes as well as picking up on analysis tips from the professor.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend the lectures; the professor analyzes the texts for you through class discussion, which is critical for the exams. Taking class notes to look back for the exams and discussions are also very important. Do research for the discussions--connecting the text to another text or another event in history will get you closer to that 10/10.
