Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class itself was very interesting, especially if you're a music-lover. It was 100 percent online which I liked. Since I took a normally 12-week course in the span of 6-weeks, the class was very fast paced and you definitely have to be on top of due dates and assignments. The content itself was not too difficult and the textbook included great information and was really helpful in preparing for exams.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed one of the assignments, called the Artist Paper. We got to choose an artist from certain time periods and write and in-depth paper on their contributions to music and society. I also enjoyed the discussion posts which had to do with controversial social issues including women's rights, racial issues and ownership rights.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are going to take it over summer, be prepared to have a scheduled routine to get all the assignments done. Every week there are one or two discussion posts, replies to posts and a module test. Definitely take advantage of the textbook before taking a test.
