Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Parks is a very fair professor, but much effort is needed.

    Course highlights:

I gained the basic knowledge of physics. On each test, we were allowed to use a homemade formula sheet.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard, get study edge, and stay on top of material. Also, start making formula sheet way in advance.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a tough class; and the final is everything.

    Course highlights:

Go to every practice exam or at least you ask him for sample essay of that practice exam. They are very helpful.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the last class, he will give some key points which he would test on. It's very challenging class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you have to take physics, you should definitely consider taking it over summer with Professor Charles Parks. He is an enthusiastic teacher who really cares for his students. He is not the best lecturer, but he gives very fair exams and even allows a formula sheet for each one. He is your best shot at getting an A in physics here at UF.

    Course highlights:

This course is an introductory physics class that goes over subjects such as structure and properties of matter; kinematics, dynamics and statics; momentum and energy; rotation, elasticity; vibration; fluids; temperature and expansion, heat transfer, thermal behavior of gases; wave motion and sound

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Start using study edge as soon as class starts. Do practice problems everyday and go over as many past exams as possible.
