    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a course required for business majors. There is a lot of information that is imperative to accounting majors. I would recommend taking the course because the information you learn during the semester will serve to be very useful in your business field, even if you are not an accounting major.

    Course highlights:

Managerial accounting focuses on measuring, analyzing, interpreting and communicating information that correspond with an organization's goal. I learned how to create management reports and accounts that provide accurate financial and statistical information for businesses that are running small and large inventories. The sort of material I learned would help managers within the organization to make better decisions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

UF StudyEdge is definitely a great decision. I recommend going online and searching for the review material and selecting questions that are difficult for you and just work on them everyday. It is important to not fall behind and stay on top of the lectures. Read the textbook at least once to understand what is going on and then complete the homework for extra credit but be sure to know that those are not similar to the exam questions. Prepare for the exam very well.
