    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is required for most science majors but is definitely not easy. Be prepared to work hard and remember that it is only a semester.

    Course highlights:

It's different from Chem 1 lab in that you don't get a lab group. Although you can talk to students and the TAs around you, all of the experiments are done on your own so that definitely made me more confident in my abilities in a lab setting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The experiments are done at your own pace, but it's important to keep moving. Getting through the labs will give you more time at the end of the semester to do the extra credit labs- which are essential if you don't want to take the [optional] final.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is extremely difficult and the lab book doesn't help that at all. I have heard that they have changed this course somewhat, so based on that it might have gotten better.

    Course highlights:

I honestly didn't learn a whole lot from this course, while some of the labs are fun to do, nothing really sticks in your brain.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read up on the prefab and make sure you know how to do each lab

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The unknowns for this lab are absolutely ridiculous, but luckily I believe they are changing the whole format of this course.

    Course highlights:

I learned absolutely nothing about actual experiments in a chemistry laboratory. I only learned how to neutralize an acid spill on myself.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Look over the labs before you go in, even though that might be annoying and tedious.
