    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a difficult class but Dr. J has taught me valuable study- and life-tips; he has been the best professor I've ever had. He is tough, but he makes sure that you know the material inside and out. The course is difficult on its own and he adds a degree of difficulty.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning how to create simple things that I take advantage of every day - shampoo, aspirin, certain foods - they're all made of organic molecules! I know how to synthesize many of these things, in theory of course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to not have ANY sort of background knowledge. Other courses have some sort of background. Organic chemistry does not. General chemistry will not prepare you. Take it as a language course and you will learn way more than you will anticipate.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Rush is a great guy. He is very approachable and eager to help his students. He has a peculiar sense of humor but you'll sill find yourself laughing every once in awhile while watching his lectures. He is very lighthearted in class while still being productive. He gives great examples to help you understand the material better.

    Course highlights:

It gives you a good foundation for understanding economics. The course widens your viewpoint to a global perspective, seeing how the economy affects people worldwide. The economy does not just affect people's paychecks. It can affect the environment, resources such as food, gas, and life changing drugs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There are only three grades in this class, the three exam grades. He doesn't give homework or quizzes. He gives you about a dozen old exams to use as review for exams though. DO THE OLD EXAMS! They are extremely helpful.
