    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Organic chemistry is an extremely difficult class, and this professor does not make it any easier. Exams require an immense amount of material, and Schantl is not the most helpful. I also experienced that clickerpoints were not extra credit and ended up harming my final grade.

    Course highlights:

He provides practice exams to study from.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to put in the work.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because the professor did such a great job explaining everything and making sure the students understood what was going on. If you have taken Organic Chemistry 1 I would highly recommend this class because you will never find a more helpful professor.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were being able to feel like I actually learned Organic Chemistry and not that I simply memorized a lot of information I was likely to forget. He also helped us learn things that would be in the lab class we took. The highlights were meeting people who were all very intelligent and wanted to succeed as well as a ton of information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to succeed I would suggest always looking at the professors note and taking your own notes based off of them. I also suggest going to the T.A.'s review and doing her study guide because she knows her stuff! I also would suggest to go to office hours because he does practice problems there that have elements he uses on the exam.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very straight forward with what she expects! The information is given clearly and she answers the questions if asked.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basic understanding of orgo 1 and i'm still able to recall information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

go to office hours! study edge helps somewhat but office hours always!
