Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

While many consider art history to be rather unimportant I found that it contained many interdisciplinary tools that helped me in other classes. The exposure to analysis and critical thinking really allowed me to have more profound experiences even in my day to day life.

    Course highlights:

Elder is truly a gem as a professor. Her knowledge in art and ability to facilitate ideas and creativity from her students provided a comfortable environment where we could share how we felt and what we thought about art despite the exclusivity of the subject.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention and take extensive notes, what Elder says is not something to forget and can often help when it comes to the exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Elder is a very knowledgable individual who shows ambition about art history and is eager to help you be successful, meaning she is very open to questions.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was understanding the art history timeline and understanding why specific pieces had specific impacts in the canon.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would start really listening and understanding why each piece is important to the canon, that way you'll understand why we're learning about specific pieces and piecing together the timeline of technique.
