    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The greatest thing about this course, is that it provides a non-stressful environment to actually enjoy learning the material, seeing as the exams are open-book and open-notes. Given the nature and volume of the material, however, it is not an easy course. The course grading scale is comprised solely of the three exams, but he allows an optional paper to replace the lowest exam grade.

    Course highlights:

It is obvious that the professor is passionate about the law in a business environment. He facilitates learning by offering his vast experiences and knowledge on multiple platforms, including directed short videos. All in all, the material that I learned, can not only be applicable in my future career, but it can also catalyzes my understanding of the world around me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I also cannot recommend writing the optional paper enough, it allows for a ton of cushion regarding grades, and it allows the possibility of skipping the final exam. It also helps to make an index of the material, so that important material and their page numbers can be found quickly on the exams. Additionally, if you are ever looking to sit down and pick any professor's brain, Professor Emerson is a great resource given his obvious passion for the subject and immense intellect.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is required for business students. The teacher is interesting and entertaining, but the exams are difficult.

    Course highlights:

The video lectures were definitely entertaining!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read both texts and understand the material. Do not think that since the exam is open book that it will be easy,

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because its a very different format typical in the undergraduate business school. I learned a lot through reading the textbook and writing the term paper.

    Course highlights:

What I gained was a lot of focusing and analysis skills. I learned to be able to critically read through hundreds of pages and be able to process through information and retain it for the test.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the entire LSB and Smokin Notes. Do the term paper and you can skip the final exam.
