    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a tough course but you learn so much about your body and about reactions that you appreciate.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how my body works and the different mechanisms associated with glycolysis, urea, gluconeogenesis, ketogenesis, DNA repair mechanisms, etc.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I think just go into with an open mind and don't freak your self out. You know more than you think you do if you put in the time and effort to learn the material.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it for anyone who is applying to medial school. Dr. Purich teaches the UFCOM and uses the same exact slides.

    Course highlights:

For Dr. Purich's section you learn in depth about protein structures and how they fold, amino acids, urea cycle, prune and pyrimidine synthesis, and amino acid synthesis.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Read all of the lecture slides and take notes during class. Dr. Purich will spend more time on the slides that he will test on.
