    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is very good for those interested in general field of anthropology, whether they are considering switching to this major or have it as a minor.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the different subfields of anthropology and how they all overlap. As one of my first anthropology courses, this was my introduction to the field.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The professor wasn't very good and she had her roommate teach a class once. The 'substitute' got in an altercation with one of the students and it was all very unnecessary. The professor also did not seem that interested in teaching, so the class was very boring.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course! The subject matter is fascinating and the exams are a breeze!

    Course highlights:

Subject matter wise you get a taste of different clusters of anthropological areas of study; specifically biological, cultural, and linguistic. I didn't even know what anthropology was when I started the course but I would say that I learnt the most in this course out of all of the course I have taken in college.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Going to class is important if you want to pass this class because attendance is mandatory and a lot of the subject matter discussed in class is on the exams. The instructor is so thorough and detailed in the lectures you don't have to spend as much time reading the chapters. So go to class!
