    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Sassaman provides exciting and relevant assignments. He relates many of the topics to events happening today, all the while teaching the four sub-fields of anthropology (biological, cultural, linguistics, and archaeology).

    Course highlights:

    I gained a holistic view of different cultures and the world around. This class really makes you go beyond your comfort zone in order to see the world from another perspective.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure to attend lectures and take notes, as his quiz questions come directly from his class lectures.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    This class isn't super difficult in terms of comprehension, but you have to stay on top of all the required readings and really absorb them to do well. This course won't cause you to pull all nighters, but it's definitely not an easy A.

    Course highlights:

    The course really teaches you to be open minded to other cultures and opens your eyes to people and practices all around the world.

    Course Overview:

    This course opened my eyes to the world of Anthropology. Before taking this course, I thought that anthropology only consisted of digging up fossils or going on adventures like Indiana Jones. This course presents you with the main fields within anthropology and explores each thoroughly.

    You learn and study in- depth the fields within anthropology.

    Reading through all the presented material and the book will give you all the information you need to pass the course.
