    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you like looking at spatial patterns and population shifts, then this course is for you! It also touches on driving patterns and density. Overall, it is a pretty dry course and sometimes cannot be very interesting. The professor does try to make the course better by making jokes and asking questions to get student participation.

    Course highlights:

I have gained insight into the transition from a very city-oriented nation to one that is more ruled by suburbs. This is a central idea in the course and one that often comes up in most topics. One important topic was the classification of rural, suburbs, and cities, which is informative when deciding on where to live in the future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes on both the textbook readings and the online readings. You do not have to be super focused on the details, just the general information. Print out the slides and bring them with you to class so you are not trying to copy the slides, but can just add notes from the professor.
