This class was tough.
This class material was rather challenging. The teacher would cover what was needed to know quickly and then spend several lectures covering material that he was interested in. Learning outside of class is very helpful. He seemed like he wanted you to learn, but using outside resources probably helped. The homework problems were from the textbook, so utilize that. His exams were a bunch of strange problems requiring an immense understanding of the information. Only passed because I found some of his old exams from his previous school in the same subject.
Theory of physical chemistry. Kinetics. All of which is rather important in my field. This was basically an intro to thermodynamics. I felt like I didn't get a good grasp on the material, but that was due to my lack of attendance. The textbook was very helpful.

Advice for students:
Try to attend lecture. Also be prepared for what he will be teaching. Try to read ahead or at least pay attention and absorb as much as you can while he is lecturing. The subject is rather dry, so paying attention in a double block lecture was extremely difficult.
